Weber Returns to Lead K-State Special Teams

Stanton Weber has been hired as special teams coordinator at Kansas State Wildcats football, returning to his alma mater after three seasons at Toledo.

Weber, 32, was a finalist for FootballScoop’s 2024 Special Teams Coordinator of the Year. At Toledo, his units produced five All-MAC selections and blocked six punts in three years. In 2025, the Rockets ranked fourth in the FBS in blocked punts.

The Overland Park native played wide receiver and special teams at K-State from 2011-15 and was a team captain as a senior. He was teammates with new head coach Collin Klein and said the two had long hoped to coach together.

Weber comes from a K-State family. His father, Stan, was a Wildcats quarterback, and his siblings also competed at the school.

K-State opens spring practices next month in Manhattan.
