Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport recorded another record year in 2025, continuing its steady growth and expanding its role as a key regional travel hub. Total passenger traffic topped 1.8 million, a 3.24% increase from the previous year. Enplanements also rose 3.13%, reaching 935,512 passengers.

Airport revenue grew alongside passenger numbers. Food and gift sales increased 13.32%, while car rental revenue rose 0.99% and parking revenue climbed 2.61%, showing stronger demand across multiple airport services.

The average airfare at ICT was $430.40. That was 11% above the national average, but slightly lower than Tulsa fares and slightly higher than Kansas City, keeping Wichita competitive within the region.

Airport leadership said the gains reflect broader community growth and continued local demand for air travel. Officials say the latest milestones highlight the airport’s ongoing focus on improving connections, supporting regional economic activity, and expanding service options for travelers.
