Wildcats Headed to Las Vegas Tournament in 2026

Kansas State men’s basketball will take part in the 2026 Players Era Men’s Championship, scheduled for Thanksgiving week in Las Vegas. The Wildcats will be one of eight Big 12 teams included in the expanded 32-team field.

K-State joins TCU, Texas Tech and West Virginia as new Big 12 participants, along with Baylor, Houston, Kansas and Iowa State. The Big 12 and Players Era recently agreed to a partnership that guarantees eight league teams in the event.

The Players Era tournament began in 2024 with eight teams and expanded to 18 teams in 2025. Oregon won the inaugural title, while Michigan claimed the championship last season.

Games are played at MGM Grand Arena and Michelob Ultra Arena. More details on the 2026 field and tournament format are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
