Wildcats Roll Past Bellarmine for Second Straight Win

Kansas State men’s basketball improved to 2-0 after a 98–71 win over Bellarmine on Saturday night at Bramlage Coliseum.

Junior P.J. Haggerty led the Wildcats with 23 points and a career-high 11 assists for his first points-assists double-double. David Castillo added 19 points on perfect 7-for-7 shooting, while Khamari McGriff also went 8-for-8 from the field for 16 points.

K-State shot 62.3 percent overall and 60.9 percent from three-point range. The Wildcats took control with an 18–4 first-half run and led 46–30 at halftime. Bellarmine cut the deficit to 10 in the second half, but K-State responded with a 15–4 run to close the game.

The Wildcats will look to stay unbeaten when they host California on Thursday at 8 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
