Manhattan, KS-  – Charles McMullen, 55, of Ogden was arrested on September 16, 2022, around 8:00 p.m. on rape and sexual battery charges in connection to two incidents involving separate Riley County women.

McMullen is charged with one count of rape in connection to a September 2, 2022, incident involving a 58-year-old female victim.

He is also charged with an additional count of rape and two counts of aggravated sexual battery in connection to a July 5, 2022, incident involving a 51-year-old female victim.

Both victims were known to McMullen.

McMullen remains confined in the Riley County Jail on a total bond of $500,000.

Due to the nature of these crimes, no further information will be released.
