FINNEY COUNTY – The Garden City Police Department requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Garden City man.

The whereabouts of 64-year-old Thanh Du are unknown, and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate him.

Thanh was last seen by family at his residence in the 1100 block of N. 12th St. in Garden City, on Thursday, March 7 around 2 p.m. When family later returned, Thanh was missing and had left the residence without his phone and wallet.

Thanh is believed to be driving a 2021 white Toyota Rav4 bearing Kansas tag 930PBK. He is an Asian male who is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Thanh was last seen wearing a tan t-shirt with “Western Moto” on the front, and navy blue sweatpants. He was not wearing shoes. Thanh has dementia and a heart condition. He speaks little English, as he primarily speaks Vietnamese.
