The owners of Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley and Christie-Anderes Funeral Home in Waterville recently announced the opening of the Anderes Family Crematory, located at their Funeral Home in Riley.

Owner Jarred Anderes said the Crematory is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, providing high-quality services all in one location. Anderes spoke about this new service.

“We designed the Crematory to provide respectful, professional, and also affordable Cremation Services to the area.”

“This building was built with the sole purpose of housing a Crematory. We also have an office and refrigeration in the building. It’s outfitted with modern equipment.”

“This allows us to ensure that every step of the cremation process is handled by our licensed staff, and with the personal attention that our families have come to expect from us.”

Anderes said the State of Kansas expects that in the next five to seven years, 75% or more of families will choose cremation.  Adding the Crematory helps the rural communities.

“With cremation becoming more popular in our society, we like to think that it shows our commitment to those communities and also the surrounding areas that we serve.”

“It does away with mileage charges to another town, and hopefully it gives families Peace of Mind that their loved one stays in our care the entire time.”
