The Clay County Parks and Recreation District (CCPRD) is set to kick off the 2025 soccer season the week of March 26 at the Rundle-Brown Athletic Complex, located at 1202 McBrathney St. As the community prepares for another season of soccer, officials are sharing important information regarding the facility to ensure smooth operations for all participants and spectators.
Parking Guidelines
With large crowds expected, CCPRD officials urge attendees to park efficiently. The main parking lot can accommodate many vehicles, but overflow parking is available along 12th St., Harriet St., and McBrathney St., as well as at the fairgrounds. To maximize space, drivers are asked to park side by side in two rows—one facing north along the sidewalk and the other facing south. The middle section of the lot should remain clear for through traffic. Additionally, diagonal parking is available on the north side of the complex. Officials also remind attendees to exercise caution when crossing streets and to drive slowly near the facility.
Restrooms & Concessions
The complex’s restroom and concessions building will be open throughout the season. A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase, with all proceeds directly supporting CCPRD programs and facility improvements.
Field Layout
This season, games will be played on five fields within the complex. Field #1 is located in the southwest corner, Field #2 in the northwest, Field #3 in the middle south, Field #4 in the middle north, and Field #5 in the large east field.
Facility Rules
To maintain a suitable environment, CCPRD has a few policies for attendees:
- Pets: Only service animals are permitted in the fenced playing area. All other pets must remain outside the designated field spaces.
- No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside the fenced field area.
- Seating & Player Benches: Player benches will be available on the sidelines for teams. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own seating, as no additional seating will be provided around the fields.
CCPRD thanks the community for their cooperation and support throughout the season.
