The Clay Counts Coalition is seeking to raise $6,000 for a $625,000 grant. Lori Martin says this is a .10000th percent return on investment. This money is to be used to prevent and reduce substance abuse in Clay County.
The Clay Counts Coalition is a grant based organization. Clay Counts Coalition was offered to apply for this grant by the Center For Disease Control.
On the 15th of September, Clay Counts could secure up to $1,000 during the Gather For Goods Match event.
The Clay Counts Coalition is seeking the initial $6,000 to hire a grant writer.
The current grant is set to expire in July of 2023. The current, much smaller, grant is targeted at youth in the community. The proposed grant would allow Clay Counts Coalition to expand their mission to the entire community.
The Clay Counts Coalition’s mission is to promote social, physical, and mental-well being for the residents of Clay County, emphasizing reduction of youth Substance abuse and to foster a thriving environment in which to live, learn, work, and play.
