Gillard also provided the Board with drawings and information for the request to expand the Riley Family Physicians Clinic. The current plan would add 1,700 square feet to the Clinic: adding 6 exam rooms, 1 doctor’s office, and 1 Mental Health room. A motion was made to approve the expansion, passing unanimously.

With this app, community members will be able to check local events and happenings in the county from their smartphones. She also reported that Clay County has been awarded $5,000 for marketing of the ROZ program, asking the Board what they would like to do with the funds. After discussion, Muruato stated that she would find out what the funds could be used for. Muruato finished up stating that they would like to host the Grow Clay County Annual meeting at the Events Center again. Mike Argo, Fair Board President, informed Muruato that the rental fee for the evening would be $2,000 and with this price, they would have to increase the ticket price to cover the fee. The Commissioners stated that they would speak with Argo and let her know what was decided on the rental.
