Another round of water, sewer, and stormwater rate increases will take effect in Marysville beginning in 2026, with city officials saying the added revenue is already helping fund needed projects and long-term planning.

For most residents with a five-eighths- or three-fourths-inch meter, the new minimum monthly charge will be $73.90, up from $61.03 in 2025, beginning with January usage billed February 1st. The base rate includes $26.81 for water, $37.09 for sewer, and a $10 residential stormwater fee. About 92 percent of customers pay the base rate. Usage charges will be assessed per 100 gallons for both water and sewer.

City Administrator Josh Haverkamp said higher revenues have increased water sales to more than $1 million annually and strengthened sewer and stormwater funds.

The stormwater fee alone is expected to generate nearly $191,000, allowing projects such as the 15th Street stormwater improvements and addressing infrastructure concerns citywide.
