Union State Bank Annual Food Drive Competition Starts January 27th

Union State Bank is holding its annual Food Drive from Monday, January 27th to Friday, February 7th at all Branch locations. Lindsey Hatesohl of Union State Bank said the Food Drive came to be while thinking of ways to give back to the communities.

“We had been brainstorming ways that we could give back to our communities and one of the ideas that we came up with was to do a local Food Drive.”

“We know the food pantries can get hit pretty hard this time of year. We just look forward to being able to help fill those food pantry shelves.”

Not only is this a generous cause to help those in need, it is also a friendly competition between the four Branches to see who can get the most donations. Hatesohl explained the simple way to donate items.

“You can bring any of your canned or nonperishable goods, personal hygiene, or toiletry items into any of our locations: the Clay Center Main Branch, the Motor Bank, Palmer, or Barnes and just drop them off in the tote.”

Visit your local Union State Bank Branch and drop your nonperishable food or other items off to help your Branch win bragging rights while also supporting a great cause.
