Clay Center Community High School is now accepting nominations for the Hall of Fame Class of 2026. The criteria for selection will be those individuals who are past graduates of CCCHS or former members of the staff. They must have made an impact on society through, but not limited to, their efforts within CCCHS, business, government, science, sports, entertainment, medicine, or education areas.

This past spring, three individuals were inducted into the Hall of Fame as members of the class of 2025. These people were:

  • Vanessa Thompson Thomas – a talented vocalist who has shared the stage with many professional musicians. She has rare musical versatility and command of blues, jazz, gospel, and classical music.
  • Susie Wiemers Fritz – a talented athlete and respected collegiate volleyball coach. Ms. Fritz has helped to develop some of America’s top collegiate athletes at Kansas State and with the USA Women’s Program.
