On Monday, August 14th, Clay County Animal Rescue and Education Center, CCARE, hosted their 2nd Annual Pooch Plunge at the Clay Center Aquatic Center. Forty-five people attended the event, bringing their dogs with them for an unforgettable experience.
Patricia Halstead, a member of the CCARE Board, said, “The dogs and their humans had a great time splashing in the water. It was fun watching some of the dogs swim for the first time.”
The shelter is grateful to the Clay Center Aquatic Center and the lifeguards for supporting the event. In total, CCARE raised $110.
