CCARE will be at Dexter Park serving up root beer floats during the Clay Center Band Concert on Wednesday, July 2nd, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., or while supplies last.

John Rieb, CCARE Manager, said the suggested donation is $5.00, with all proceeds going to help the Shelter.

“The City Band will be playing at Dexter Park, and that’s kind of where we got the idea to do a pop-up. We did it last year, and we saw some pretty good success with root beer floats, so we thought we’d do it again this year.”

“We will be there as long as supplies last.  So, if you want some root beer floats, come on down and make sure you get there pretty early so you can grab one.”

Also, don’t forget CCARE is offering its Summer Lovin’ Adoption Special throughout July.  Potential adopters can take advantage of $50 off all adoptions through the month.
