CCCHS Homecoming Candidates – 2024

CCCHS will play against Southeast Saline at this Friday’s homecoming game, which begins at 7:00 p.m.

Anthony Davies is the son of Ashley Davies. Throughout high school, he has participated in football, basketball, and tennis. He has been a three-sport athlete all four years of high school, and a two-time state qualifier in tennis. He is also a member of Ylink. He plans to attend college after high school. During the summer he works as a lifeguard at the Clay Center Aquatic Park. 

Weston Hammond is the son of Chad and Jericho Hammond. While in high school, he participated in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He also participated in FFA and was a Junior and Senior level officer. Weston is a member of the United Methodist Church and participates in his youth group. He likes to spend his days in the outdoors or on the farm. After high school, Weston plans on going to Kansas State University or Manhattan Vo-Tech.  

Walker Henry is the son of Marc and Kate Henry. Throughout high school, he has been a three-sport athlete, participating in Football, Basketball, and Track. He has also been a 3-year member of Tiger Chorale. He is a member of the United Methodist Church of Clay Center and is an active member of the Youth Group.  He enjoys golfing, hanging out with friends and spending time at the lake. He plans to attend Kansas State University with an undecided major. 

Jace Weller is the son of Matt and Nichole Weller. Jace has been a three-sport athlete at CCCHS, participating in football, basketball, and track. He is also a Fellowship of Christian Athletes student leader, a 3-year member of Tiger Chorale, and a member of the National Honor Society. Outside of school, Jace attends the Clay Center United Methodist Church where he serves as the youth group treasurer. He is currently interning at United Bank and Trust. After high school, Jace plans to attend a four-year university and major in business 

Joni Begnoche is the daughter of Justin and Jennifer Begnoche. Throughout high school, she has been involved in FFA, drama, NHS, and is currently the senior class president. Outside of school, Joni is involved in 4-H, where she is the president of her club, a member of the 4-H Council and Jr. Leaders, and she is a 4-H Ambassador. She’s also involved in the youth group at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. After graduation, Joni plans on attending Manhattan Technical College for nursing. 

Ayla Johnson is the daughter of Troy Johnson and Heather Ohlde. While in high schoo,l Ayla has been a 4-year member of the Lady Tiger basketball and volleyball teams, lettering 3 years. She also was a part of the track team for 2 years and lettered in both years. She is currently serving as the senior class secretary. Ayla is active in LYF at the St Paul Lutheran Church and is a 3-year academic letter winner. She is currently working in ER registration at the Clay County Medical Center. After high school, she plans to choose a major in college that will help her become a Physical Therapy Assistant.  

Isley Lee is the daughter of Brandon and Sally Lee. While in high school Isley has been a four-year member of the Tiger Tennis Team, competing at the varsity level for the past two years. She is a two-year member of the National Honor Society and has lettered academically each year. Isley enjoys performing arts, has participated in choir during high school, and has been a member of Tiger Chorale for the past two years. She also serves on the worship team at church. She is the current CCCHS Student Council President. Isley is employed by Clay County Medical Center, attends Clay Center Covenant Church and is a member of FCA. Isley plans to attend Kansas State University and major in hospitality management after graduation.  

Savemore Nyamakope is the daughter of Charles and Tecla Nyamakope. Throughout high school, she has been a member of the National Speech & Debate Association for 4 years and is a three-time competitor at the National Tournament. She is involved in other performing arts activities such as Theater and Choir. Savemore is in her third year of choir and is currently a member of Tiger Choral. She is presently serving as the Senior representative for CCCHS Student Council and the President of the Green Club. Savemore is employed at Clay Center Presbyterian Manor as a CNA and is also employed at the Coachlight Restaurant. She worships at Mizpah/Longford Methodist Church and is a member of FCA. After high school, she plans on getting a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
