CCCHS Juniors Raising Money For Prom

By Quinn O’Hara

Clay Center Community High School Juniors are raising funds for the upcoming prom.

On Wednesday, November 15th, from 5pm-7pm, the Methodist Church will be hosting a Community Scramble. The Juniors will be serving a breakfast menu at the Scramble under the name Pancakes for Prom.

The Juniors have also been assisting with the cleanup of the Mark A. Chapman stadium after football games as a part of their fundraiser.

The Juniors are also decorating homes for the holidays. For $20 an hour per elf, you can hire a Junior class Elf to help decorate your home. Elfs will arrive on Sunday, November 26th, and work from noon to 5pm.

Lori Martin, the Junior Class sponsor, talks of how the Juniors will help decorate your home:

The prom will take place this coming April.
