CCCHS Student Savei Nyamapoke Crowned State Champion, Other Forensics Students Place High in State Tournament

CCCHS Tiger Forensics competed at the 4A State tournament at Washburn Rural High school on Saturday, May 4.

Morgan Peters and Audrey Reh teamed up to take 7th place in the Duo Interpretation category. Morgan Peters also won 8th place in Poetry Interpretation, and Sam Peters took 12t h place in Original Oration. Savei Nyamapoke took first place in Serious Solo Acting, earning her the title of State Champion.

Nyamapoke said she’s proud of the growth she’s experienced through her time in forensics.

The four students will also be traveling to the 2024 Speech and Debate National Tournament in Des Moines, Iowa this summer, having qualified for the tournament in prior competitions during the school year.
