On March 18 from noon to 1pm the Clay County Medical Center will be holding a caregiver support group called Caring Connections.
According to a press release, the group is intended for people who are struggling with the day to day stressors of being a caregiver for a friend or family member. Participants will learn coping strategies to reconnect with one’s self. The event plans to kick off spring with planting seeds to remind participants that they also need to care for themselves.
The Caring Connections group meets on the 3rd Monday of every month at the CCMC Education Center. The event is free and open to the public.
