Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) was one of only 10 Kansas hospitals to make the Becker’s Hospital Review of top-rated hospitals for patient service, nurse communication, and physician communication. In addition, it received the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals within the United States by The Chartis Group.
Of the 102 rural hospitals in Kansas, 84 are operating with a negative profit margin, and CCMC is proud to say they are not on that list.
A letter from the hospital stated that support for the facility’s success comes from its outstanding medical providers, a well-educated Board of Trustees, caring team members, and communities that welcome CCMC.
