The Clay Center Carnegie Library held their yearly visit to the Clay Center Zoo through their summer reading program on Monday, June 17.
The small group was led around the zoo’s exhibits by Garret Payne, the zoo’s Curator.
Participants got to see the zoo’s resident bears, cheetahs, monkeys, peacocks, and more. The kids also got to pet the zoo’s turtles and hand-feed raisins to the lemurs.
