Read Across America Week is quickly approaching. Created to foster and encourage a love of reading, the week begins on March 2nd, Dr. Seuss’ birthday.
The Clay Center Carnegie Library will have a Dr. Seuss themed story time on February 29th at 10:30 a.m. Pixie Knepper, the children’s librarian, also noted that the library has a large selection of Seuss books for patrons to check out. This year, Dr. Seuss will be 120 years old.
