The Clay Center City Council has approved several road project bids for 2024.
The first project will be paving a new road on the Ryan Addition on the northside of Clay Center.
City Councilmember Daton Hess says the next project will re-do curbs and wheelchair ramps on several streets to make them ADA compliant:
The CCLIP project will be along a roughly mile long section of Highway 15 inside Clay Center City Limits:
The CCLIP program by the Kansas Department of Transportation aims to improve intersections and state highways that extend through cities.
Councilmember Hess says all projects are scheduled to be completed by the fall of 2025.
