With the Clay Center City Council’s approval to continue the process of building the new Clay Center Multigenerational Community Life Center, many new opportunities lay ahead for local organizations to use the space to hold new classes, events, and programs.
The Clay Center Recreation Department says they are very interested in the potential usage of the space. Patrick Hayes, the Department’s Superintendent, says the Community Center will fill a niche otherwise missing in Clay Center:
