Clay Center Competes in Concordia JV Tennis Triangular

The Clay Center Junior Varsity tennis team participated in the Concordia Triangular on September 10th, competing against teams from Concordia and Beloit.

In the #1 singles, Shae Urban of Clay Center secured a win against Beloit 6-4 but fell to Concordia 6-2. Chloe Holte, competing in #2 singles, won both her matches, defeating Beloit 6-1 and Concordia 6-0.

In doubles play, the #1 doubles team of Kaylyn Johnson and Izzy Blackwood earned victories against both Concordia (6-1) and Beloit (6-1). The #2 doubles team of Jaycee Charbonneau and Addisyn Stapp also had a strong showing, winning both matches with scores of 6-2 against Concordia and 6-1 against Beloit.

Clay Center tied with Concordia and Beloit, each team earning 10 points overall.
