Clay Center Covenant Church Raises $18,000 to Build Six Water Wells in Africa

By Quinn O”Hara

An effort by the Clay Center Covenant Church has raised $18,085.22 to create six water wells in Chad, Africa.

On June 9, nearly 200 individuals attended the CCCOV Water Walk, a 6K walk meant to resemble the distance the people of Chad must walk each day to collect fresh water.

CCCOV Lead Pastor Brad Mann said the Water Walk is several months in the making, and the turnout was better than they thought possible.
