With the 2025 season fast approaching the Clay Center Tiger Sharks Swim Team will host a Parent Meeting and Registration event on Tuesday, April 15th in the Lincoln Elementary Cafeteria from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

During the event parents and guardians will learn about the Tiger Sharks Team and the season schedule, children can try on swimsuits, attendees will hear from the coaches, and parents or guardians can sign up their child or children for the 2025 season.

Jenna Beaver, Tiger Sharks Coach, said Tiger Sharks provides a positive atmosphere for youth to practice and grow in the sport.

“The Tiger Shark Swim Team is for any youth in our district. We promote a positive swimming environment where every swimmer gives their all in practice and at the meets. It’s all about teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.”

This season swimmers will be holding a raffle contest, with winners receiving either a Family Pool Pass or punch cards, with winners being drawn on May 10th.

This season’s schedule includes five meets, which Beaver said are optional to attend. Clay Center’s meet will take place on June 21st with all eight teams participating.

Beaver encourages anyone who may be interested in joining Tiger Sharks to join them on April 15th.

“If this is something that you’re interested in doing, I would encourage you to just give it a try and come. It’s a fun environment and we love showing what we love about Tiger Sharks and being a part of our team!”
