Clay Counts Coalition Members Discussed the 12-month Action Plan During Monthly Meeting on May 7th

One main topic was discussed during the Clay Counts Coalition’s monthly meeting on May 7th: The new 12-month Action Plan.

The 12-month Action Plan was presented to Coalition members for review. Lori Martin shared the mission and purpose of the Coalition and what goals members may have moving forward.  Members were asked to review the Plan and think of some ideas moving forward on how to address the current goals, with the possibility of new goals being added.

The 12-month Action Plan document listed goals of reducing substance use among youth and adults. Statements presented evidence of the percentage of youth who have used alcohol, tobacco, or other substances based on survey data for Clay County. Goals are then presented in the document on how to decrease these percentages by 2028 through various activities. Members will discuss these goals in future meetings.

The next Coalition meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 18th, at the Stuart Administrative Center at noon.
