On Wednesday, March 6, the Clay Counts Coalition met for their monthly meeting.
The coalition invited Natalie Muruato, Grow Clay County’s Director, to talk about the Community Life Center and why it matters.
Lori Martin, the Coalition’s Community Mobilizer, presented on several visits CCCHS YLinK will make to Topeka and the Kansas Capitol Building in the coming weeks. Martin also reported on the new TeenMates program CCCHS YLinK has organized. She said 14 teens had signed up to be mentors at the time of the meeting. She also talked of the Coalition’s newest Courageous Conversations event, which will be on the ongoing fentanyl crisis and its effects on small town Kansas.
