The Clay Counts Coalition invites you to a FREE night of laughter, stories, and being together! Please join us Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 6:30 pm at the Rex Theatre for the “Strong Feelings About Being Alive” Comedy Tour.

In his new show, comedian Taylor Johnson tells true stories about mental health, Mr. Rogers, and all the ridiculous things we do when we feel like we are falling apart. With a mix of hilarious storytelling and surprising honesty, Taylor creates a space where audiences feel safe to laugh, cry, reflect, call a loved one, hug a librarian, or write a kind letter to a sick cat!

Although Taylor is considered to be a clean comedian, the show does include serious moments around depression and suicide. The recommended audience is 13 and older.

In addition to Taylor’s show, there are two more FREE offerings:

  1. The Clay County Arts Council is providing a small popcorn and drink to the first 100 people in attendance.
  2. Pawnee Mental Health will host a “Linger Longer” ice cream social after the show.
