Press Release
Clay Center, KS – The Clay County Hospital Foundation (CCHF) is pleased to announce that it is just over $53,000 away from achieving its fundraising goal in support of the planned $3.8 million expansion at Clay County Medical Center (CCMC). This ambitious project includes the construction of a 6,765 square-foot addition, featuring a new mental health clinic and expansion of Clay Center Family Physicians.
The foundation has already made significant strides, having sold out all sponsorable rooms in the new mental health clinic and clinic addition. Currently, the CCHF is focused on raising $300,000 to cover furnishings, fixtures, and equipment essential to outfitting the expanded facilities.
“Supporters of local healthcare always show their generosity toward the CCHF campaigns,” said Dan Thalmann, campaign director. “We’re so appreciative of those who have supported us financially with this effort. We’re always humbled when the community so profoundly gets behind us. We want to continue to show that support for this important project, especially because of its timely focus on new medical services for mental health.”
The expansion project at CCMC represents a critical step forward in enhancing local healthcare infrastructure, particularly in the area of mental health services—a timely focus given current needs.
“We urge our community to continue supporting this vital initiative,” added Bryce Dolan, Director of the CCHF. “Every donation, regardless of size, brings us closer to fully equipping these new facilities and ensuring they meet the highest standards of care.”
