Clay County Medical Center and Health Department Host Heartwarming Community Baby Shower

Clay County Medical Center

Clay County Medical Center, in partnership with the Clay County Health Department, recently hosted a successful and heartwarming Community Baby Shower, bringing together expectant and new parents from across the area to celebrate, connect, and learn.

Held at Clay County Medical Center, the event welcomed dozens of families and community members, all eager to support the health and well-being of our newest residents. The baby shower offered educational resources, informative presentations, and fun giveaways—providing attendees with valuable tools and knowledge as they prepare for parenthood.

“We are proud to partner with the Clay County Health Department to provide an event like this for our community,” said Bryce Dolan, Development and Foundation Director at Clay County Medical Center. “It’s about more than just celebration—it’s about building a strong, healthy start for families across Clay County.”

Highlights of the event included presentations from health professionals, community resource booths, door prizes, and complimentary gift bags packed with baby essentials. Parents had the opportunity to speak with nurses, lactation consultants, and other experts about infant care, nutrition, safety, and wellness.

The Clay County Community Baby Shower reflects both organizations’ ongoing commitment to supporting maternal and child health in the region. By bringing families, healthcare providers, and community partners together under one roof, the event fostered education, empowerment, and connection.
