Clay County Medical Center Announces Temporary Parking Lot Closure for Construction

CCMC

Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) will begin demolition work on a section of its parking lot starting Wednesday, April 2, 2025. The construction area, the west end of the main parking lot, will be closed off to allow for necessary concrete work and improvements. Please note this closure includes two of the three entrance drives on the west end of the main parking lot.

To ensure a smooth flow of traffic, directional signage will be placed at key locations to guide
vehicles entering and exiting CCMC and Clay Center Family Physicians. Patients, visitors, and team
members are advised to follow posted signs and allow extra time for parking adjustments during this period.

“This project is part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing our facilities to better serve our
community,” said Austin Gillard, CEO at CCMC. “We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we make these necessary improvements.”

CCMC encourages all visitors to stay updated on construction progress by following official communications and posted signage. A phone number to assist patients to and from their vehicles has
been developed and will be posted. However, the Circle Drive drop-off area will remain open. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call CCMC at 785-632-2144.
