Clay County Medical Center Recognized with Women’s Choice Award for Best in Emergency Care and Efficiency

CCMC Release

Clay County Medical Center (CCMC) is proud to announce its national recognition as a recipient of the prestigious Women’s Choice Award® in two highly regarded categories: Best Hospital for Emergency Room Wait Time and Efficiency and Best Hospital for Emergency Care.

This honor places CCMC among the top 10% of hospitals nationwide for emergency care, a distinction awarded following an evaluation of more than 7,000 hospitals across the country. Rankings were based on data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS), reflecting both clinical performance and patient satisfaction.

“These awards are a testament to the outstanding dedication and hard work of our entire team,” said Austin Gillard, CEO of Clay County Medical Center. “We are deeply honored to be recognized by the Women’s Choice Award, which validates our ongoing mission to deliver high-quality, compassionate care close to home. Our team’s commitment to excellence is unwavering, and this recognition reinforces the trust our patients place in us every day.”

The Women’s Choice Award is the only designation that identifies the nation’s best healthcare institutions based on the preferences and feedback of women, making it a unique marker of consumer trust and satisfaction.

Clay County Medical Center continues to prioritize efficiency, accessibility, and patient-centered care in all aspects of its emergency services. This national recognition further solidifies the hospital’s reputation as a leading healthcare provider in the region.
