Brenda Bohnenblust, MA, CCC-SLP and Megan Gfeller, MS, L/CCC-SLP, have been an integral part of the medical center team for a number of years. They provide a full range of services, including evaluations and treatment for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing difficulties for all ages.

One program offered at CCMC is LSVT LOUD®, short for Lee Silverman Voice Treatment LOUD. This specialized, evidence-based therapy is designed to improve vocal loudness, articulation, and overall communication in individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions. LSVT LOUD is a scientifically supported treatment that helps patients regain their voice and confidence.

“We are proud to offer LSVT LOUD therapy here at CCMC,” said Brenda Bohnenblust. “This program can make a tremendous difference in helping patients speak more clearly and be heard. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch someone rediscover their voice.”

Speech Therapy Month is a time to honor the work of speech-language pathologists and educate the public about the challenges faced by those with communication and swallowing disorders. At CCMC, we remain committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to help every patient reach their fullest potential. If you or a loved one is experiencing difficulties with speech, voice, or swallowing, contact CCMC to schedule an evaluation with Brenda Bohnenblust or Megan Gfeller.
