On February 1, 2024, the Clay Center Cub Scout Pack 55’s Webelos 1 den completed their First Responder Adventure Loop thanks to a visit from three Clay County EMS medics.

A visit from a first responder was the final requirement the scouts needed to complete the adventure loop. Cubmaster Jess Borgerding says the First Responder Adventure Loop taught the scouts valuable medical emergency skills:

At the end of the visit the scouts also got to spend time in the back of a CCEMS ambulance and learn how it functions.
