Planning for the future is important. The River Valley District is offering an educational program, Intro to Estate Planning, designed to help individuals and families understand the basics of estate planning.
The free workshop will cover key topics such as wills, trusts, power of attorney, and healthcare directives. Participants will gain essential knowledge to begin the estate planning process with confidence and clarity.
“Estate planning is for everyone — not just the wealthy,” said Monica Thayer, Family Resource Management Extension Agent with the River Valley District. “This program is about educating on estate planning options to protect loved ones and ensure wishes are honored.”
The event will be held on Thursday, September 18th at 7:00 p.m. at the Event Center on the Clay County Fairgrounds at 213 S 12th Street, Clay Center, KS 67432.
