Friends of The Clay Center Carnegie Library To Host Second Book Talk

By Quinn O’Hara

The Friends of the Clay Center Carnegie Library will be holding their second Book Talk in February.

Gabbi Bergmann is on the Friends of the Library board. She says they started this event to encourage reading in the community, as well as increase engagement with the Library:

Bergmann says most, if not all, of the books have already been chosen for the year:

The Library will purchase six copies of each book they read and begin promoting each event roughly two months before the meetings to increase accessibility to potential participants. The Clay Center Carnegie Library already has all six extra copies of the current subject book, The Covenant Of Water, available to check out.
