The Clay Center Community Improvement Foundation’s (CCCIF) 7th annual Gather for Good Match Day is drawing near. On Thursday, September 19th patrons will have an extra opportunity to help nearly 50 non-profit organizations across Clay County, with matching funds being added to the generous donations.
CCCIF and representatives of various non-profit organizations will be at the Clay County Museum from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. to greet donors. Jess Borgerding, CCCIF Board Member, said this year’s match is higher than previous years.
Borgerding said donors can donate in person at the museum or online. Online donors must donate on the 19th to have funds matched. She said it’s unreal to see how much money people give to these organizations in the community.
The Patterson Family Foundation awarded CCCIF a grant for Match Day this year, helping to grow the match money. A full list of eligible non-profits, and other information can be found on www.gatherforgoodcc.com.
