The Board recognized the CCCHS Volleyball team for their 3rd place State finish, along with CCCHS Cross Country member Kylie Pfizenmaier, for medaling at State with a 5th place finish.

The Board discussed and approved grants, including a WHS Culinary Ag Grant, a CCCHS Ag Grant, a CCCHS Volleyball Dicks Sporting Goods Grant, and an Activity Fund for YLink. Motion carried unanimously.

Brett Nelson, Superintendent, presented his report. Voters of USD 334 voted to disorganize the district. In the near future, the Board will likely need to approve the newly added boundaries. More information will come in the future.

Jaclyn Pfizenmaier, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, stated that the cardiac arrest response drills went very well with all buildings participating in the drill. The district did receive its Perkins funding, which will cover expenses for the CTE Programs. Pfizenmaier discussed the Parent Teacher Conference attendance numbers also.

HTK shared the results of the Bond community survey and the next steps in the bond election process. The options were based on the two options, Plan A and Plan B. The last town hall meeting had good attendance, which covered questions and highlights of the two Plans. Concerns and highlights of the meeting included the expansion of Lincoln Elementary, security improvements, and the district building. The survey had a large response, with more supporting Plan A. If a resolution is passed by December 8th, the election date would be March 3rd, 2026. The Board will hold a special election on December 1st to further discuss bond topics. They also approved a motion for a special meeting on January 5th to interview possible Construction Managers at Risk.

The Board finished the meeting accepting employment and resignations within the district.

A breakdown of the different Bond options and other details on the Bond issue can be found on the district website.
