Jayhusker Races Coming Back to Clay County Fairgrounds September 14th

The Jayhusker Races are returning to the Clay County Fairgrounds dirt track on Saturday, September 14th. With hot laps starting at 6:30 p.m. and the first race starting at 7:00 p.m.

Mike Argo, Fair Board President, said the Jayhusker Club is a participant of racers from Kansas and Nebraska.  There are multiple heats consisting of different classes of cars and trucks.

All races start with hot laps. Argo said this gives the racers a chance to get used to the track. It also gives fans a taste of what’s to come.

TCB Eats will be running concessions, and Simply Scoops will be offering up ice cream. There will also be races during Clay Center’s Piotique Celebration on September 28th. More information on the Jayhusker Races can be found on the Clay County KS Fair Association’s Facebook Page.
