Junior Varsity Tennis Results

The Junior Varsity Tennis team competed at Abilene against Abilene, Marysville, and Sacred Heart. Clay Center placed 2nd with 12 points.

– #1 Singles (Substitute): Keagan Schurle went 2-0, securing 1st place.

– #1 Singles: Robert Hendrickson went 1-1, losing to teammate Keagan Schurle with a score of 7-5.

– #2 Singles: AJ Van Cleave achieved a perfect record of 3-0, earning 1st place.

– #1 Doubles: Caden Peterson and Tarin Pfizenmaier finished with a 1-1 record, earning 2nd place.

– #2 Doubles: Mason Payne and JJ Boze faced tough competition, finishing 0-3, with two close losses of 6-7, 5-7 and 0-7.

Looking ahead, on April 9, 2024, the Clay Center Junior Varsity team is scheduled to compete at Concordia at 3:00 PM. On April 11, 2024, they will face Marysville at the same time and venue. For the Varsity team, their last home match of the season will take place on April 12, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
