The Clay Center Lady Tigers hosted the annual Tiger Wrestling Invitational on Friday, the Tiger Boys hosted Saturday. Both teams would finish third as a team. The Lady Tiger Invitational was won by Holton 187.5, 2nd Shawnee Heights 142, Clay Center 3rd with 127. Individual titles were won by 115 Chloe Rott, 125 Josey Weller and 130 Evelyn Farley. 100 Khenzly Cannizzo 3rd, 105 Brooklyn Gordon 4th, 120 Averi Schurle 4th, 120 Ezri Catlin 3rd, 135 Reika Tate 6th, 140 Maizy Gurney 2nd, 145 Kiersten Dumas 4th, 155 Shae Urban 3rd, 170 Ashlynn Hovland 5th, 190 Sophia Carrier 3rd.
On Saturday the Tiger Boys would finish third with 121.5 points behind 2nd place Hoxie 206.5 and 1st Place York, Nebraska. This week for Tiger Wrestling the Tiger JV will be at Abilene Thursday, the Lady Tiger JV at Abilene Friday and the Tiger Boys Varsity will be on the mat Saturday in Abilene.
