The Lighthouse For Christ in Clay Center will hold “Tithing Thursday” to support a local organization on Thursday, June 20th during their open hours of 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Abby Sprague, Lighthouse For Christ Director, said that the organization they are supporting will generally have volunteers there to help volunteer at the Lighthouse and mingle with the customers.
Sprague said the Lighthouse always guarantees at least $1,000 in support. Sprague said next week’s organization being supported is the Church Camp Ministries.
During shopping hours patrons can also donate to the Church Camp Ministries. More information on the Lighthouse for Christ can be found on their Facebook page.
