In a Facebook post on January 31st, USD 379’s Lincoln Elementary announced they have identified a new principal for the 2024-2025 school year.

Lincoln Elementary says they selected Mr. Steven Kimmi, who is the current Curriculum Director at USD 240 Twin Valley. The school says that “[a]fter a comprehensive search and interview process, Mr. Kimmi stood out as a candidate who possesses not only the required expertise but also the passion and vision that align with Lincoln’s values and goals.”

Mr. Kimmi will succeed Matt Weller as the Lincoln Elementary Principal, who was recently selected to fill USD 379’s new Community Engagement Coordinator position.
