Linda Underwood has been selected to lead the 2024 Piotique Parade in Clay Center as the parade’s Grand Marshal.

This past April, Grow Clay County’s Community Outreach Committee opened nominations for this year’s Grand Marshal under the theme “Hometown Hero.” Grow Clay County Director Natalie Muruato said the Community Outreach Committee selected Underwood because of her several years of volunteer work in service to those in Clay County struggling with cancer and other medical issues.

In response to her selection, Underwood said she is humbled by the recognition.

This year’s Piotique will be held on Saturday, September 28.
