During the Kansas Elks Association Spring Convention in Wichita last week, Clay Center Elks Exalted Ruler Loni Yarrow, was presented with the 2024-2025 Kansas Elk of the Year Award.  

Yarrow has been a long-time member of the Clay Center Elks Lodge, serving as Exalted Ruler for over five years. As the Exalted Ruler, Yarrow has continued and added many charitable traditions in the community, including: The Elks Big Show, Back to School Fair, the Annual Toy Run, and more.

During the Convention, Clifton-Clyde High School student Jaci Winter was also the Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship winner. Winter was sponsored by Yarrow and the Clay Center Elks Lodge.
