The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new Undersheriff.
During the November 20th Clay County Commissioners meeting, Sheriff Benninga reported that he had officially appointed Mark Werbin to the position.
Benninga talks of Werbin’s qualifications for Undersheriff:
Benninga says the duties of the Undersheriff include filing accident reports, keeping the CYSO updated with other state agencies, working as a second shift supervisor, and assisting with criminal investigations.
