Grow Clay County’s annual “Best of” Nominations are currently open. Members of the community are encouraged to nominate their favorite businesses or individuals that they feel deserve to be considered Clay County’s “Best of” for 2025.

Awards are separated into 11 different categories, including Best Retail Business, Best Non-Profit, Best Professional Business, Employee of the Year, and more. Citizens can nominate a deserving business or individual through January 23rd by visiting https://www.growclaycounty.org/2026-annual-meeting.

Kathryn Doster-Tipsword, Event Coordinator, said it’s important to give a reason for your nomination.

“If no reason is given for the nomination, then the nomination doesn’t count towards that business or that person.”

Winners will then be selected through a two-fold, systematic process, ensuring the most deserving are recognized. Awards will be presented on Saturday, February 21st, during Grow Clay County’s Annual Meeting. Tickets for the event are now on sale.

“Tickets are currently on sale, and you can find that button on our website.”

“If you click the ‘Order Tickets HERE’ button, it’ll take you straight down to the bottom of the page where you can order your tickets.”

“You can order individual tickets, or order a table for 8 people.”

The website provides detailed criteria for each award, helping applicants fully understand each category.

Visit https://www.growclaycounty.org/2026-annual-meeting and nominate businesses or individuals that you believe were ‘Best of’ 2025.
