Pawnee Mental Health has appointed Savannah Lee as its new Military Treatment Coordinator, enhancing mental health services for military members across Pawnee’s 10-county region. Savannah has a master’s degree in clinical psychology with a trauma specialization from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and a bachelor’s degree focused on international security. She gained practical experience through internships, including one at the Family Care Center, where she worked with psychometric testing, personality assessments, and treatment coordination. Her research has explored the impact of personality pathology on suicidality among female veterans, equipping her with specialized skills in this area.
Savannah has also gained clinical experience as a psychology student, providing therapy to service members and their families. Her work has focused on addressing trauma, PTSD, and substance use disorders among military populations. Additionally, she has engaged in community outreach programs to connect civilians with military members and veterans, demonstrating her commitment to supporting this unique community.
In her role as Military Treatment Coordinator, Savannah will be responsible for creating tailored treatment plans, facilitating clinical outreach, and coordinating care for military clients. She will work alongside team members and community partners to develop effective treatment strategies and foster a supportive environment for service members.
